Who should avoid this treatment?

While Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is safe and beneficial for many, there are certain health conditions where it may not be suitable. If you have any medical concerns, please consult with your GP before booking a session.

 

MLD is not recommended for individuals with:

 

  • Active cancer

  • Acute infection or inflammation

  • Fever

  • Cellulitis

  • Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)

  • Congestive heart failure

  • Untreated hypothyroidism

  • Arterial hypotension (low blood pressure)
