Hot stone therapy dates back from over 3,000 years ago and was used in ancient India, China and by the North Americans.

The treatment is performed with the use of oil, heated volcanic basalt stones, combined with massage strokes. This creates the ultimate deep, highly relaxing and healing massage.  The warm heat of the stones warms the skin, fascia and the muscles within the body thus creating a deeper and more intense treatment. It is said that one full body treatment is equivalent to three full body massages!

 

This treatment is used as part of a holistic treatment but can be used as part of a remedial treatment by prior arrangement.
